Project Narrative

Streambank stabilization included 125 feet of bank rocking was installed and six rock barbs were placed along 375 feet of stream bank above the rocking. There was a slight design modification as proposed by the project engineer that increased the length of area treated from 320 feet to 500 feet. Willow clumps were planted between the rock barbs and turbidity monitoring was also performed. Environmental compliance took three years to complete and this required the project sponsor to request an extension to the contract. The total project area including willow plantings along the streambank in the riparian area was 650 feet.
