In 2019, both the Page and Idaho Department of Lands (IDL) projects along the Pahsimeroi were implemented. These were relatively smaller projects that utilized low tech restoration techniques, but still produced a plethora of benefits. Beaver Dam Analog’s (BDA) are a great tool in habitat restoration as these structures slow water down, create fish habitat, and maintain channel-floodplain connectivity. The following pictures highlight the benefits BDA’s had on these two sections of the Pahsimeroi.
